Over the past couple of months we have experienced a monumental transformational change, on a global scale that has not occurred in decades. A key question in people’s minds at the moment has become, “What will be the ‘new’ normal, when we return to work?” This will be determined a great deal by what behaviours are reinforced and what are not.
Leading change can be tricky and feel bewildering, particularly faced with multiple unknowns. But a framework that uses a holistic style of leadership at a high level whilst giving practical steps in managing the granular, can ensure the organisation’s “greatest asset” is paid proper attention by marrying the personal and change task together. The ABChange Model can help us navigate through these difficult waters and give us a clear action plan for leading our teams.

Jennifer Bryan is a practicing Change Consultant, who has worked with over 30 different organisations across multiple industries. She is also a Non Executive Board Member of the ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals) UK Chapter. She believes in helping people - in whatever capacity she can - by making sure people are thought of first, last and throughout change projects and programmes. She has created a unique leading change framework, the ABChange Model, which has been published in peer review journals and several other articles, as well as, presented at multiple conferences and client leadership events. The Model is underpinned by accepted theories in leadership and change. It then builds upon them a framework which enables managers to create their own strategies and action plans, effecting specific change within their organisations.
