Title: VUCA-Proof Your Leaders! Building Change Capability in a World of Churn

PresenterHolly Burkett

Skill Level: Intermediate (3-5 Years of Change Management Experience)

Track: Enterprise Capabilities and Leadership

Change management professionals are increasingly pressured to partner with executives in driving organizational performance, engagement, and service quality. Yet many executives underestimate the complexities of change, don’t take time to understand their role, and fail to consider change impacts on overall systems. The issue of "anticipating & reacting to nature and the speed of change" has been cited as a critical capability gap among CEOs and is a key factor in why change initiatives fail to take hold. As the pace of change accelerates in an age of disruption, leaders are looking for ways to keep up, and step up, to the challenge of adapting faster, better, and more economically than their competition. Change professionals play a key role in positioning their organizations to succeed in a VUCA environment by developing adaptive, resilient leaders. Join this interactive session to explore best practices for re-tooling your leadership development efforts and growing leaders’ change capabilities across all levels.
