Culture is a critical foundation for any transformational initiative. What you made successful yesterday, isn’t necessarily going to make you successful in the future. Most organizations have woken up to the fact that culture is critical for employee engagement and business results. But many stop at defining the culture and creating a creative campaign that briefly engages leaders and employees, but then falls off the radar as other priorities emerge as more important. The most successful companies, however, understand that to unleash the full potential of their culture, it needs to be woven into the very fabric of the organization and be foundational to how employees connect to the overall purpose as well as how they work together to achieve results. In this session, we will share how you can unleash the power of culture to fuel growth. 


Michelle Mahony has spoken at several conferences for IABC, Melcrum, ALI, The Conference Board and other organizations. The leader and driver behind the award-winning Liquid Change study, Michelle has spoken at the 7th Annual Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit, the HR Southwest 2016 Summit, the Advanced Learning Institute's Millennial Workforce Conference, and at the IABC Heritage Conference. In the past few years, she co-authored a study, on the internal use of social media in organizations and managing remote employees, as well as an international study sponsored by the IABC Research foundation entitled “Best Practices in Employee Communication: A Study of Global Challenges and Approaches.” Michelle also served on the faculty in the Education Department at Whitman College, where she taught students effective pedagogical and communication methods, as well as Developmental Psychology.
