Adele B. Lynn and Janele Lynn

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a critical component of any change effort. You may not use the term, but you, and the executives you partner with, use it every day to get great results. When your change efforts are going well, EQ is one of the reasons why. When they aren’t going so well, EQ could certainly be one of the reasons why not. If the leader is a key obstacle to successful change, how will you help him or her transform? Learn how to make EQ a more tangible part of your efforts. And, learn how to translate your leader’s behavior so he or she can understand the impact it has on his or her success. In every great leader, EQ is running in the background when they are mentoring, communicating, championing, influencing, or building coalitions – which are all critical components of successful change. Let’s bring it to the foreground and make it actionable.

If you are an ACMP Member or ACMP UK Sponsor the event is provided free of charge, for non-Members there is a £10.00 ticket price.

        Title:  The Change Mindset

        PresenterCyriel Kortleven

Skill Level: Beginner (0-3 Years of Change Management Experience)

        Track: Trends & Innovation

Putting a ladder on top of a banana-peel to avoid somebody falling over it, is probably not the most efficient solution. But it’s a bit bizarre that we have created so many ladders (inefficient patterns, rules, systems) in our organisations and in our lives. Those patterns might have served us in the past but many of them are not relevant anymore in this fast changing world.

And that’s where the Change Mindset gets into the picture.

Yes… you need to suspend your judgement to break fixed thinking patterns

And … explore the world from a different perspective to generate new ideas

Act … on it because the key to real innovation is doing experiments & fail fast, often & forward.

In this interactive and entertaining presentation you will get tips, tools and language to influence others to be more creative & entrepreneurial and give a big boost to your own Change Mindset.

        Yes And Act … Now.

Cyriel Kortleven is an award-winning global keynote speaker for conferences, client events and leadership development meetings. He is an expert in boosting creative and entrepreneurial mindsets of successful professionals in a changing environment. Cyriel will help your organisation to achieve your most important strategic goals by engaging your employees to do things differently; reducing natural risk-aversion and stimulating a more entrepreneurial mindset; offering pragmatic tools and language to open essential conversations on innovation and change. He has worked with clients like Bayer, IKEA, Nike, Pfizer, Unilever and many more to make their big events and conferences a great success.

As a keynote speaker, Cyriel is the living embodiment of engagement, using a lot of interaction and humor. He is a simplifier who delivers a simple, pragmatic message and leaves his audience with helpful tools and useful language. Cyriel excels in an international context with audiences from all over the world. No wonder that Cyriel belongs to a select group of 35 people in the world who are Global Speaking Fellows: An award for speakers who have spoken across the Globe and demonstrate a high degree of speaking expertise and cultural awareness in global markets. He has already inspired organisations in 25 different countries in five continents and is the author of five successful business books.

His mantra: "Don't mind the Change. Change your Mind."

        Learning Objectives:

        • Suspend your judgement to explore opportunities
        • Reduce your risk aversion and experiment more
        • Get in the right mindset for change (or your clients)

Title:  PIVOT-Ability: Turn Change & Disruption into a Culture of Innovation & Resilience

        PresenterAdam Markel

Skill Level: Advanced (5+ years of Change Management Experience)

        Track: Enterprise Capabilities and Leadership

Disruption is inevitable. If your organization is not prepared to manage and make the most of change - or clings to the status quo because of the perceived risk, your days may be numbered. This may sound extreme, but the reality is that 88% of the Fortune 500 companies from 1955 are no longer in business. Without a pivot-ready culture, businesses run the risk of mediocrity creeping in, which ultimately threatens an organization’s long term profits, and even its very survival.

We believe that constant and never ending innovation is the key to sustainable success. Our ability to reinvent and innovate - what Adam refers to as “PIVOT-Ability” – is critical to business longevity. Pivoting requires vision, agility, resilience and the ability to utilize change to its fullest.

Through a combination of foundational principles, case studies, stories and interactive exercises, Adam will initiate a conversation that helps your team:

        • Embrace the law of small changes to increase productivity and operational longevity.
        • Recognize the main cultural design flaw of “doing more with less” and pivot towards a high performance culture of self-care.
        • Leverage a 4-part Resilience Regeneration system to build top-down and bottom-up resilience into your organization.
        • Shift from an old paradigm success formula to one that encourages your team to reach new heights while learning from “great mistakes”.
        • Breakthrough the fear of change and challenge “status quo” results.

Adam Markel is an international speaker, bestselling author and executive business mentor who works with organizations and individuals to create high performance strategies and resilient work cultures that lead teams forward in times of change. After building a multi-million dollar law firm, Adam reinvented his own career path, becoming CEO of one of the largest business and personal growth training companies in the world, overseeing more than $100 million in sales. As a transformational speaker, Adam’s unique style combines practical business strategies with personal development insights to create a learning environment with lasting impact. Adam’s latest book is the bestselling PIVOT: The Art and Science of Reinventing Your Career and Life . Adam also hosts The Conscious PIVOT Podcast , where he shares his insights on pivoting in today's fast paced marketplace. Adam is currently the Chief Executive Officer of More Love Media, Inc., a company that works with individuals and organizations to build work cultures of greater inspiration, resilience and connection.

        Learning Objectives:

        • How to enable your teams to not only embrace change, but utilize it effectively
        • What “out of the box” really means and what it requires to implement
        • How to build resilience into your organization for long-term growth
        • How to prevent toxicity and turnover by aligning company goals with employee fulfillment and growth
